Javier Ballester
Javier Ballester is an addiction medicine/addiction psychiatrist at the Salt Lake City VA and is the current president of the Utah Society of Addiction Medicine. He believes in the transformative power of Art in its different forms as a force of personal growth, including of course addiction recovery. He loves listening to music, reading scientific articles, traveling, food and spending time with his beloved dog.
Megan West
Megan West is an Opioid Grant Program Administrator with the Utah Department of Health and Human Services, Office of Substance Use and Mental Health. She is the Alternate State Opioid Treatment Authority (SOTA) and is very involved with the Utah Society of Addiction Medicine as the chapter administrator. She is currently pursuing her Master's degree at the University of Utah in Public Policy and is a member of the Salt Lake County Arts & Culture Board. For fun, Megan enjoys yoga, painting, naps, long walks, being on or around water, and attending live music outdoors. Her summer goal is to cultivate a butterfly and bee haven in the yard and explore new areas of Utah.
Indigo Cook
Indigo Cook is a percussionist, dancer, and interdisciplinary artist. As a freelance artist based out of Salt Lake, Indigo teaches and performs with various local groups in addition to managing individual and community-based creative projects, primarily in the experimental and avant-garde fields.
